“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Radiation, Rain, Milk
A good reason to switch to non-dairy, now. Moocows eat grass. Grass contains rainwater. Radiation levels spiked in rainwater 181 times the US standard in Berkeley during the torrential downpours recently. Which by the way were probably caused by the tsunami picking up some of El Nina (source: chat with climate scientists at the gym). Which is a symptom of global warming. HT Comora Tolliver.
See, everything is interconnected. And it sucks.
ecology, philosophy, culture, science
global warming,
nuclear radiation
