Pond Scum
Bill Benzon posted a comment that included a link to some marvelous pond scum pictures. Joel Trexler the ecologist was telling me how sad he felt that the admin kept on getting rid of the algae (alias scum) in the ponds on the rather spectacular FIU campuses.
