“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Yes you really hit your stride in this one.All the tropes/thought modes you elucidate are essential insights, they allow individuals some ways to clarity. What is more problematic is how to translate the attitudes to groups-that-have-to trhink, to interpersonally, to decision making . How to allow a communal how and as you rightly say, to arrive at a what. So also believe that the where is the why. In the nightclub, in america. Place gives rise to the particular. Much love RC
Wow thank you RC that is a REALLY kind thing to say. TM
