How to Assess the Classical/Quantum Boundary

Does it even exist? Here is a thought about it.

It exists, but it's not rigidly demarcated. There is a paper in the Physical Review Letters which shows using coupled quantum rotors that classical-like behavior can emerge even without decoherence or without thermal coupling to the environment.
