“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Pimp My Fibonacci

So I've been happily designing various forms of OOOIII schlock. At first I thought to put the logo about 2/3 of the way up an iPhone case. Somehow I was thinking of the Golden Section.

Now I know a lot of lifeforms follow the Fibonacci sequence to some extent, because of the efficiency with which such sequences can pack and unfurl iterated sequences of leaf, branch, nerve or whatever. But something curiously anthropomorphic happened to the iPhone case when I put the OOOIII there.

Putting it in slap the middle, however, preserved the nonhuman anonymity of the case, in my eyes. Any thoughts?

it just LOOKS like the fibonacci series. It's not really.
