“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Vegan Update: My Screaming Inner Chimp
Yes, most people have an inner child, but I seem to have a screaming inner chimp. This chimp is hungry for flesh. I'm fantasizing about it. It's not exactly the meat itself that I'm fantasizing about, but me, with bloody fangs, having-chewed some meat. It's odd to say the least.
I have no craving for cheese, strangely. I feel as if I've eaten all the cheese a man needs to eat in this life. (I really have eaten almost every cheese on the planet at this point, and in great abundance.)
But I have this image of blood dripping from my canines. Just sayin'....
