“Was not their mistake once more bred of the life of slavery that they had been living?—a life which was always looking upon everything, except mankind, animate and inanimate—‘nature,’ as people used to call it—as one thing, and mankind as another, it was natural to people thinking in this way, that they should try to make ‘nature’ their slave, since they thought ‘nature’ was something outside them” — William Morris

Losing It

Sometimes it is so very very good to lose it completely, especially with other people.

That happened big time when I heard this being put together in the studio a few months ago.

Then it happened again when the gang played it again. And then again when Arca added what Björk called a “halo” to the strings.

And The Haxan Cloak doing his thing with the beats.

In fact, it was several hours of just losing it.

I personally think those are the best string chords I've ever heard, in the best sequence I've ever heard.  And that's just one layer of why.
