...the absence of. In fact I haven't had anything like a migraine except when I've been quite sick with a sinus infection, or strangely tired (as in jet lagged). I was getting at least one a week before I got the CPAP, a prosthetic device that cares more about my breathing when I sleep than my brain does, apparently. My brain is quite happy go lucky with the idea of my death. It waltzes along, pleasurably causing my windpipe to collapse on itself so that I only have 2 minutes of REM sleep per night without the CPAP. That and stopping breathing every three minutes.
I slightly miss all the near death and bardo dreams I was having.
