My friend Deborah White just put me on to the expressionist art of Sue Coe, whose book Dead Meat looks like it's going to be on my shelf quite soon. She's a disturbing artist—not for the squeamish. But putting the death and gothic horror back into meat is going to be disturbing, isn't it? I'm particularly keen to find the images of ghosts of animals chasing humans. More soon.
