The Possibility of Possibility

I checked Heidegger for a citation for my D&D essay. Now I can't put it down.

As a fan of the iterative style of teaching, I find it a fantastic read this time.

And since Graham Harman cleared the cobwebs out of my head about it all, I'm seeing things anew.

For instance I'm fascinated by the recursion of being-towards-death. The "possibility of possibility." "The anticipation of anticipation."

It reminds me about what I'm arguing about fragility in Realist Magic. Every object has some feature labeled "I am not part of this object." A hamartia. An inner silver bullet. Otherwise known as a Godel sentence.

This is based on Graham's argument that Angst is not that different from the tool-broken tool structure. Which leads me to this somewhat whimsical idea that objects can be anxious...
