Time for Some Innovation Please

...agriculture is on the way out, as specified in a number of previous posts. But scientists are taking a second look at global warming's role in outstripping it. Food prices have become far more unstable, far more quickly, than the most robust global warming models predicted.

It was blithely assumed that the increase in carbon dioxide would act as a fertilizer. Way to forget floods, droughts and other extreme weather. In particular erratic weather. Things have become extraordinary here in the Great Central Valley of California, from where you all get a whole lot of food.

It seems as if the studies were done in highly artificial conditions such as greenhouses.

Scary, genuinely scary.
