This past weekend, a front-page story in the Times discussed which of Shakespeare’s doomed rulers Trump most resembled: Julius Caesar, Richard III, or King Lear..

Wrong. The correct answer is Macbeth: 

Those he commands move only in command,
Nothing in love. Now does he feel his title
Hang loose about him, like a giant's robe
Upon a dwarfish thief.
